The new employees have been drafted in to help cope with the increased demand on its life insurance, secured loan and debt management products.

Barney Drake, who oversees the running of the Life department, believes that more and more people are seeing the benefits of reviewing their life insurance arrangements with a company that invests in the best training and systems.

He said:

“From a standing start in August 2009, we completed 500 new policies in March, and our plan is to reach 2000 a month by this Christmas. Our aim is to provide the highest quality products and service to our clients and our Customer Care team ensures that we continue to communicate with them to look after their future insurance requirements.

The Secured Loan team has doubled its staff numbers to 10 following a rise in the number of broker enquiries.

Group Director Matt Cottle said:

“More and more introducers are waking up and realising the world hasn’t ended.  We are educating them into the benefits of using a secured loan while interest rates are so low, and the quality of introduced client just gets better and better.

"With Link Loans re-launching and Blemain Finance increasing its maximum loan size, it’s clear that the market is slowly headed in the right direction. We are putting fully trained well-informed staff in place to help brokers take advantage of a superb earning opportunity."
