Nominations can be made for any business who you think deserves recognition via the Property Reporter Awards website and will be put under the microscope by our incredible panel of judges, before deciding on the winners.
Backed by years of experience and industry knowledge, this crack team of seasoned property professionals has been a closely guarded secret, until now.
Over the next few weeks, we are delighted to give you the chance to get to know our judges a little better, find out who they are, where they're from and what makes them tick.
Next up, Roxana Mohammadian-Molina...
PR: Who are you?
RMM: I am Roxana Mohammadian-Molina, Chief Strategy Officer at specialist finance provider Blend Network. We provide development finance to property developers all across the UK and have just bought a larger shelve to be able to fit all the awards we have won so far! ๐
I also sit on the Advisory Board of Women In Finance and I was selected to the Women In FinTech Powerhouse 2019 and 2020.
PR: How long have you been involved with the property industry and what is your current role within it?
RMM: I have been investing in property myself for over a decade when I was working at an investment bank. After leaving investment banking, I now work at Blend Network with a lender’s hat on, helping property developers get the funding they need to build and refurbish homes. This is a hugely rewarding role, especially at a time when Covid-19 has meant that many borrowers have been left out in the cold by lenders pulling out of deals.
PR: What will you be looking for in a successful nominee, what separates them from the competition?
RMM: To me, it’s all about the journey. So whether a nominee is applying for the best estate agency or the best mortgage lender, I would like to judge them on how they got to be where they are, their journey, the challenges they faced and their achievements.
PR: There are many categories in the Property Reporter Awards. Which category are you most looking forward to Judging?
RMM: All the categories look really interesting, but due to my own background and interest I am really looking forward to judging the best finance broker.
PR: What judge from the world of TV, film or literature are you most like and why?
RMM: I love Lord sugar the apprentice ๐
