The agent analysed data on the types of properties that they have sold in the first half of the year (Jan - June), for the past 10 years.
The great change in property through the ages is the increase in supply and demand, with population in the UK in 1901 increasing by 27,845,700 (42%), which means that there are now over 65,648,100 individuals living in the UK, all requiring a place to live. This large increase in population is affecting the property market, with larger properties being built and an increase in flats to meet the demand.
Mark Readings, Founder & Managing Director, said: "At House Network we have seen a huge property shift since we started the agency 15 years ago, the demand for property is being met by the continual increase in population and the buying priorities shifting from size to location. First-time buyers are seeking properties that have excellent transport links and provide an efficient commute to work."
