Property services groups, Leaders Romans Group has announced a new partnership with lettings tech specialists Goodlord.

The new agreement will see Goodlord’s end-to-end lettings platform rolled out to the entire stable of LRG brands. LRG comprises over 300 branches across the UK and includes Leaders, Romans, Stirling Ackroyd and Acorn among its brands.

From this month, all LRG branches will leverage Goodlord’s platform across referencing, contracts, payments and compliance. The move forms part of LRG’s ambition to consolidate systems and streamline operations across its rapidly growing family of lettings brands, which now stretches from the Isle of Wight through to Manchester.

Goodlord's platform is designed to simplify compliance, unlock efficiencies, and help agencies discover new revenue streams. Crucially, it ensures letting agencies and their landlords remain compliant across new and existing tenancies - a critical market need ahead of the Renters’ Rights Bill reforms which are due to come into force later this year.

As part of this partnership, LRG agencies will transition to Goodlord’s PRO Referencing offering, which makes tenant referencing safer and faster.

Overall, this new partnership means Goodlord’s technology will now support up to 1 million renters per year, as the platform continues its trajectory as one of the fastest-growing tech offerings on the market.

The Goodlord Group, which comprises both the Goodlord and Vouch brands and employs over 300 staff across three offices, works with over 3,000 lettings brands across the UK, supporting tenancies worth over £6 billion each year.

“At LRG, we are always looking for ways to enhance the service we provide to our landlords and tenants while ensuring our operations remain as efficient and compliant as possible," said Allison Thompson (pictured), National Lettings Managing Director at Leaders Romans Group, "Partnering with Goodlord allows us to consolidate our lettings processes under one seamless platform, giving our branches the tools they need to deliver a streamlined, tech-enabled experience,"

She added, "For tenants, this means a faster, more transparent rental journey – from simplified referencing to quicker contract processing and secure online payments. With lettings legislation continuing to evolve, this partnership ensures we remain ahead of the curve, equipping our teams with market-leading technology to support our customers and drive operational excellence across our network."

William Reeve, CEO at Goodlord, said: “We are delighted to welcome LRG as a Goodlord customer. We’ve been longstanding admirers of their business, and are honoured to have been selected as a strategic partner for them as they look to streamline their operations.

"LRG shares our ambitious, fast-paced mindset, as well as our ongoing commitment to digital excellence and market compliance, and we know they all explored all avenues when it comes to lettings technology before ultimately choosing to partner with Goodlord. Together, we can deliver an optimised rental experience for agents, landlords and tenants across the nation.”
