Matthias, who has 10 years of experience in the commercial real estate and CMBS special servicing industry, will take over the role from outgoing COO, Mark Miller, who is returning to the States.

Matthias will be responsible for overseeing the pan-European operations and will be helping to grow LNR’s loan and asset services platform across Europe.

Matthias spent the last 6 years in various senior roles in LNR Partners’ US Special Servicing platform and is a German citizen.  Prior to this he worked as a lawyer in various roles in the German commercial real estate market.

Matthias is an accredited German attorney and received his legal education in Munich, Germany.

Toby Cobb, Co-CEO, LNR Property, commented:

“We are delighted to announce that Matthias Schlueter has assumed the role of managing director and COO of our European Platform while Mark Miller the long time European COO has accepted a senior position in our US Special Servicing business.

"Our global footprint and the depth and breadth of our team affords us the opportunity to bring a seasoned professional in the loan services space like Matthias in to augment our already industry leading loan services platform in Europe.

"Matthias has unique capabilities that will enable us to better serve our clients, investors and stakeholders in the UK and the pan-European markets and we feel fortunate he has agreed to assume the COO role in Europe."

Matthias Schlueter, COO, LNR Partners Europe, comments:

“LNR Europe and Hatfield Philips have done extremely well in the CMBS industry, but there are still significant opportunities that can be exploited to service broader markets, such as the commercial real estate needs of institutional pension and insurance funds and other providers and users of property debt.

"I am excited about my new role within LNR’s global organization and am very much looking forward to helping carry our European business into new areas.”
