"Letting a property comes with lots of uncertainty for landlords, so we are always looking for ways in which we can improve our services and offerings to them, our clients, to ensure they are protected in every possible way when being a landlord"

Deposit alternative provider flatfair has announced that it has formed a new partnership with the Sheldon Bosley Knight Group which will see multiple brands under SBK, including the recently acquired Loveitts, offer flatfair’s No Deposit solution across their landlord and tenant customers.
On the new partnership, Rebecca Dean, Lettings Director at Sheldon Bosley Knight said: “The Sheldon Bosley Knight Group is delighted to be working with flatfair, offering a deposit alternative to our valued landlords and tenants across all locations.
"Letting a property comes with lots of uncertainty for landlords, so we are always looking for ways in which we can improve our services and offerings to them, our clients, to ensure they are protected in every possible way when being a landlord.”
The collaboration comes at a time of significant change in the rental market. Recent data from Rightmove highlights that average advertised rents are predicted to increase by 5% outside London and 3% in London by the end of 2024. With rising rental prices putting further financial strain on tenants, flatfair’s No Deposit alternative offers a practical way for renters to reduce upfront costs.
Dean adds: “For a tenant, choosing flatfair as a deposit alternative reduces upfront moving costs and gives them the ability to move to a new home without having to find another five weeks' deposit when they may already have a deposit locked into another tenancy.”
Over 65 agents and Build-to-Rent operators signed up to use faltfair's deposits platform in 2024, with SBK joining the likes of Andrews, Spicer Haart, and Beals.
Rebecca concludes: “At Sheldon Bosley Knight, we are committed to providing a service of excellence and peace of mind. This new offering will strengthen our proposition, providing landlords with more protection and enabling tenants to move without excessive upfront moving costs.”
