The housebuilder, fronted by former Avant Homes CEO, Mark Mitchell, is looking to build 14 house types as part of the development which, Honey said, would combine “style, substance and sustainability for the benefit of buyers”. It also said it had created the house-type designs by analysing consumer insights and trends “to ensure they meet the needs and wants of today’s new home buyers, including the flexible use of all living spaces”.
If the housebuilder receives permission for the site from Bolsover District Council, construction is likely to start in the spring, with the first residents expected to move in at the end of the year. Honey said that under the scheme it would also contribute £160,000 to local community initiatives.
Honey’s standard home features will include bi-fold doors, individually-designed fully integrated kitchens and “boutique-style” bathrooms including free-standing baths and full-height tiling and will also benefit from electric vehicle charging points.
Mark Mitchell commented: “We have worked very hard to ensure all our homes will provide buyers with an ideal combination of style, substance and sustainability.
“We know there is strong demand for high quality, high specification new homes in South Normanton so we are pleased to submit our plans for consideration by Bolsover District Council.”
