The housebuilder said it was tracking ahead of its five-year budgeted growth plan and was “well on its way” to quadrupling its size by 2025. This follows its management buyout of Macbryde Homes in 2020, which subsequently changed its name to Castle Green.
Headquartered in St Asaph, North Wales, the firm is expanding into North West England, with the business opening a new regional office in Preston Brook, Cheshire, during its reported financial year. The office “has the potential” to accommodate 70 employees and aid further expansion in the region, Castle Green said.
The company’s other highlights over the past year include retaining its five-star status within the National New Homes Customer Satisfaction Survey and completion of the first scheme delivered under the housebuilder’s Partnerships brand. Millington Fields in Drury, Flintshire, in partnership with Welsh housing association Adra, consists of 24 mixed-tenure homes.
Gwyn Jones, Castle Green’s CEO, said: “This is another truly fantastic set of results. I am very proud of the whole team and what we have achieved together; success has clearly become a habit and part of the Castle Green culture, which puts us in great shape to move forward.
“In the current financial year, we’ll be bringing forward a new wave of larger, prestigious schemes, which will take the business to the next level and propel legal completions to over 500 by 2024.”
