Located in the Royal Exchange, this flagship office will support the increasing residential development activity that is currently emerging in the City and City fringe.

The office will be headed up by Richard Pine-Coffin who joins Jones Lang LaSalle from Hamptons International, prior to that Savills and who brings over 20 years of residential experience from the City and Canary Wharf market to the team.

Peter Murray, International Director in the Residential team at Jones Lang LaSalle commented:

“As the City of London moves into Prime Central London and is becoming more recognised as a residential location we are witnessing an increased appetite from both British and International investors and owner occupiers looking for residential property in the City. Having already had notable successes with schemes such as The Heron and Avant Garde we believe that opening a dedicated office in the Royal Exchange will allow us to support this demand and at the same time support the increased residential offering coming into the market.”

Jones Lang LaSalle are the first property consultancy to open a sales office in the City, and Murray goes on to add:

“Our residential forecast for 2013 predicts new Central London developments will see positive house price growth of circa 2% before pushing towards 8% pa by 2016. London’s strong demand profile means that this will always be a desirable market to invest in, with many viewing London as a safe haven with a relatively stable economy.”

Andrew Frost, Lead Director in the Residential team at Jones Lang LaSalle also commented:

“This is another very positive step forward in supporting our clients. The new City office reaffirms the commitment of Jones Lang LaSalle to expansion of the residential business and the confidence and foresight that we have in the City, and surrounding fringe locations, as desirable residential areas.”
