From today, users of Zoopla will be able to browse over 20,000 rooms or flatshares for rent, along with 50,000 profiles of potential flatmates looking for a room to rent using Easyroommate’s systems.

The flatshare section on Zoopla.co.uk will allow users to register on Easyroommate.co.uk for free, whether they are looking to rent a room or find a flatshare.

Jonathan Moore, director of Easyroommate.co.uk comments:

“Flatsharing has been growing rapidly in the past year as owners look to cash in on spare rooms, and renters look to save money by moving in with others. In August alone, 70,000 people registered on Easyroommate.co.uk.

"As Zoopla.co.uk is one of the biggest players in the online property market, this deal lets us tap into a rich new seam of flatshare demand. As a result of the partnership, we expect registrations on Easyroommate to rise by 10% per month.”

Alex Chesterman, CEO of Zoopla.co.uk comments:

“Our mission is to provide the most comprehensive online property resource in the UK. By partnering with Easyroommate.co.uk we will be able to cater for the needs of both renters looking to flatshare and owners seeking to rent out a room.”
