Agents Giving are asking for YOUR help to tackle hunger in local communities by preparing a simple food parcel to donate to your local foodbank. Please check with your foodbank the items they are in most need of, collect them up and make the donation.
Samantha Lane, Head of Fundraising at The Trussell Trust, said “Foodbanks rely on local businesses to help them deliver vital services within their communities and break the cycle of poverty, so we would like to thank Agents Giving for their support.”
You may also like to collect up any unwanted coats you no longer wear and donate to someone who needs them more than you in this cold weather. Get your whole office involved in collecting coats and once you have your pile ready to go contact your local night shelter, homeless charity, or local Foodbank who will happily take them off your hands.
Embrace Mortgage Services are currently running ‘EMS Street Help’, Andy Trantum and the EMS team collect up essential warm items like coats, hats, scarfs, socks, gloves and toiletries to give on a weekly basis to their local homeless via Street Link – Connecting rough sleepers to local services in England and Wales. Andy comments; “We not only donate these bags but we also chat to people and offer to connect them to Street Link, we also provide them with a map and directions to their nearest foodbank.”
