The next Graham Penny Auctions Leicester auction will take place on Wednesday 7th May at the King Power Stadium and will see 22 varied lots including residential property, commercial property, land and others from across Leicestershire and the rest of the UK go under the hammer.

Carl Finch, Graham Penny Auctions Leicester branch manager, commented:

“Our catalogue is not only strong in terms of the number of lots we have on offer but also in terms of the types of properties available. There’s something for everyone and as there’s no threat of fall-through with an auction sale and it should complete within 21 days, now really is the time to buy.”

Amongst the lots going under the hammer are:

•    20 Shaw Lane in Markfield – a detached cottage-style house situated on a large wide fronted plot, close to the village of Markfield. The guide price is £235,000+

•    Garage and land adjacent to 13 Cornwall Road in Leicester - an excellent opportunity to purchase a plot of land of approx. 80 sqm with planning permission for a large store/garage of approx. 3.6m x 16.7m with a 3m roof height. The guide price is £10,000+

•    5 Gutheridge Crescent in Braunstone - a three bedroomed mid-town house which requires cosmetic modernisation and upgrading and will make an ideal buy-to-let investment and also an excellent opportunity for a first time buyer.  The guide price is £75,000+

•    34 Coventry Road in Broughton Astley - a three bedroom semi-detached house with ground floor bathroom and driveway to the front and requiring some modernisation and landscaping. The guide price is £88,000+

•    27 Cartwright Drive in Oadby – a delightful four bedroom townhouse benefitting from gas central heating and partial double glazing. The guide price is £115,000+

Graham Penny Auctions acts for both private individuals and institutions selling a wide range of interests, from investment properties and vacant houses to building plots, commercial properties and others. Last year it secured more than £62.4m in sales for its customers and achieved an overall success rate of 84 per cent – 6.2 per cent above the national average.

Carl added:

“We have sold more properties at auction than any other auction house in Leicestershire so far this year and I would recommend anyone new to property auctions to come down on 7th May and see how we could help you.”
