Ahead of the big day, local food banks will be giving out emergency supplies to more people than ever before due to the ongoing cost of living crisis so any donations this Christmas will have a huge impact on those in our communities who are struggling the most.
Agents Giving is calling out to agents and suppliers to urge them to get involved where they can with their time, support, collections, and donations for their own local food banks.
Help spread some Christmas cheer by filling a stocking or two with goodies and sweet treats to donate, meaning in addition to the basic food parcel, those in need will receive the extras that everyone loves and deserves at this time of the year.
The charity suggests that you fill your stocking with sweet treats such as boxes of chocolates, selection boxes, tubes of sweets, hanging tree chocolates, mini Christmas crackers, biscuits or even Christmas puddings.
Collect what you can in your office, ask your community and other local businesses to support you by donating items, pop them into stockings of any size and simply donate to your local food bank.
